One Body

Everyone deserves the opportunity to experience worship and learn about God’s love for them. Hope’s special needs ministry, One Body, is available for families and individuals affected by special needs to provide an inclusive opportunity for all to worship, learn, and connect with their peers.

We have trained One Body volunteers who collaborate with families to hear and understand how they can provide resources and support for children and students with special needs in behavior, physical, cognitive, or medical areas. At Hope Grimes, volunteers will be assigned to work with a child or student to support, teach, or lead them through large group activities and breakouts, or in a separate classroom.
