A Church After God’s Own Heart

Going all in on Jesus

Lutheran Church of Hope’s 2024 Sermon Series Theme: A Church After God’s Own Heart

Ten sermon series over 12 months that challenge each one of us individually as Christians, and collectively as a church, to consider how we might draw closer to God and discover the purpose of life this side of heaven. This year, join us as we focus in on the four “G’s” – GatherGrowGroup and Give – and live out God’s calling for us both individually and as a church family!

GATHER

“For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’” – Matthew 4:10

It’s God’s heart for us to worship!
Here at Hope, we know worship is a “getta” not a “gotta.” Make weekly worship a priority by finding the service time that works best for you!

Saturdays, 5:00 pm
Sundays, 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 am

GROW

You must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever!” – 2 Peter 3:18-19

It’s God’s heart for us to grow in faith!
As modern-day disciples of Jesus Christ, we are called to move from spiritual infancy to spiritual maturity. And, we have several ways for you to do that through classes, programming and events year-round. You can search through the complete list on our calendar. If you’re looking for a great place start, check out Alpha!

GROUP

“All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.” – Acts 2:42

It’s God’s heart for us to do life together!
We aren’t wired up to do life alone. Spiritual growth best happens in small groups, which is why we encourage everyone to find their community and get in a group! There are plenty of small groups to get connected with and walk through life with. If you would like to become a part of a group but don’t know where to start, let us know and we’ll get you connected!

GIVE

“You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. ‘For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.’” – 2 Corinthians 9:7

It’s God’s heart for us to give of our time and treasures!
As we grow in faith, we turn our hearts to God, giving of ourselves and our resources. We encourage you to pray about where God might be calling you to give – whether by serving in one of Hope’s ministries, with a mission partner, going on a mission trip, or by giving financially to help support the mission of Hope!
